individuals in a family may impact the entire family. This study selected respondents from Bajau tribe members consisting of seven family members – Father, Mother, Wife to first son, Son to Second son, First and Second son, Subsidiary of living mother in Alamesra Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This study used qualitative methods in which more detailed information was collected through the in-depth interview method to identify and describe the conflicts inherent in each respondent in the family. The results of this study found that intrapersonal, interpersonal and group conflicts are at risk of leading to family strife, conflict, violence, and destruction and therefore each family should have its own way of managing conflicts in their family.
