Trends in the Growth and Sense of Efficacy of the Psychology Profession and issues in Japan

The main objective of this study is to summarize the previous studies that has been accumulated to date and provide an overview of the growth and sense of efficacy in the psychology profession. As a consequence of this study, it became clear that research on the growth or sense of efficacy of the psychology profession is being conducted mainly in the United States. Growth in the psychology profession is influenced by the fact that it takes time and the growth and sense of efficacy of the psychology profession. However, it has become clear that there is little research on the growth, sense of efficacy, and inter professional collaboration of psychologists, including those with long-term experiences. Further research is needed on the growth and sense of efficacy of psychologists, including those with long-term experience, and on inter professional collaboration. Furthermore, by including Asia as the subject of research, there is a possibility that the specialization of Japan’s psychology profession will be improved in the future
